For reference. The Hittites, like the Egyptians in battle, used chariots, so the king, as pharaoh, performed in battle on a special chariot. Moreover, the chariots of the Hittites were heavier and could accommodate three to four warriors. So I depicted Suppiluliuma after the battle in the Royal mantle. Historians say that in the empires of bronze on horseback have not fought.
The shields hettes used the other, cruciform sword so is the later weapons. But I wanted to portray so, to emphasize czars dignity.
One version of the origin of the pants by the way - just for horse riding. I think it is true.

For reference. The Hittites, like the Egyptians, used chariots in battle. So I depicted Suppiluliuma after the battle in the czar's chiton, over which he wore plate armor. The swords and shields of the Hittites were used by others, but I decided to depict a cross-shaped sword, close to the medieval one, to emphasize its czars dignity.
