Description:
This is for a site that provides tips + tools for designing web sites. I wanted a theme that went well with the name as well as integrated the initials 'dD'. After playing w/ hundreds of variations this is what it came to (for now at least).

I really like the illustration. The type treatment however is bothering me a bit with some of the letterforms. Most odd is the %22i%22 having the same height as the other letters. The other minor issue I have is with the sharp corners next to round edges, such as in the bottom of the %22d%22 or the top left corner of the %22n%22.

I'd consider a different typeface.
Replytry chalet from House Industries. It will give you the same feel you have, without all of the weirdness.
