Your design that you imply we copied is not original – there's probably a hundred designs like that out there... its practically public domain as far as concept since it was so widely used during the golden age of propaganda posters etc. and a google search today will show you a wide range of organizations, merchandise, etc. using that concept in many permutations.**Secondly, we did this for a client who specifically asked for an old propaganda style %22revolutionary fist in front of a star%22 which we then created from scratch by hand and Illustrator. You haven't been copied and until now we didn't know you existed.**sorry if this seems snappy but we're professional designers with complete integrity and we don't take well to insinuations of plagiarism.

Looks coincidence to me. I agree that it is a common treatment. Which I think makes it ok for a festival such as this but I'd steer clear of it if it were a corporate mark.
