Very clever design. It's nice and simple and reminds me of honey comb as well, and bees are known to follow their own pheromones in finding flowers and mates. Nicely done.

The concept is nice when you explain it, but I don't think it works well without the explanation. Considering a wide variety of pheromone functions, the love reference is way too narrow to be easily picked up. **Also the fact that pheromones are predominantly associated with animals and insects, so the mark basically implies some form of an animal love connection at best :-)

If you wanted to be very literal I suppose you could bring up the point that, scientifically speaking, pheromones have never been identified in humans - only animals. However, most people don't know that and most people do associate pheromones with love and attracting others, so I think DirkLeys is safe with the chosen logo and the meaning behind it with regards to the general public and what they will think when they think 'pheromones'.
