Description:
Maratha Warriors is one of the corporate cricket (sport) teams of a particular company based in state of Maharashtra, India, among other teams from other states. I created this logo, keeping in mind, the history of actual Maratha Warriors and their leader, "Chhatrapati Shivaji - The Great".
One can see his statues all over Maharashtra with a similar pose (riding a knight with a sword in hand) as one can see in the logo. The only difference between the two is that, in this logo, Shivaji is holding a cricket bat and I've made it look like as if he's playing a cricket shot, sitting on the speeding knight, hence the ball in motion.
