Nice concept but to me it looks more like a parfume label than a law firm logo. Anyway, if it works job well done.

Glen, I agree with AM, it's a well executed logo, but it doesn't seem to work for a law firm IMO. This would've been a spot on logo for a tailor shop though.

The background is definitely part of it. But its the typeface as well which has a fashion/ glamour feel to it.

The pin striping and execution made me think of a clothier or designer. Take out the background it might say lawyer instead.

i think this one is great! i immediately though 'lawyer' when I saw it so I don't think it's tooo 'clothing-ey'.**From Logomotive's comment..*logomotive said: I think it's just the BG giving that feel,(pin stripped suit).**I liked that about it - but maybe the lighter stripes should be a lot thinner and the darker just a little darker.**Superb!
