ReplyVery nice illustration. Where did the name Rudy come from?
ReplyYes, this is lovely.
ReplyGrubedoo...it's my middle name. Me GrandPaPa was Rodolph.**A little background on the illustration. It was literally a %22cocktail napkin%22 sketch. We'll not a cocktail napkin but a standard napkin and I used a fine tip sharpie to get the inconsistent bleeding to cause the rough line effects.
Replythis is a great one
Replygoing through your showcase I would assume you were hit by a bright light one night and can now also move objects with the power of your mind too...**fantastic work!
ReplyThis is so far removed from the rest of your showcase, I hope we see lots more logos from you with as much character as this. I love it.
ReplyThanks everyone. It is more on the illustrated look and I do have more in this category. I will share more soon.
Replynido...yes, I'm working on bending spoons. **Thanks!!!

ReplyThank you for all of the kind comments. I had original posted this back in 08 so i was surprised it surfaced in the gallery. Much appreciated!

ReplyI had sold this illustration years ago to a design firm. I never saw it in production.
ReplySo you sold the same illustration twice - and both clients use it for a coffee related business?
ReplyMy illustration was originally done as part of a stock illustration library for the coffee industry and was sold with non exclusive rights. Both were aware of this. The one was for apparel and a sub brand only.
