"The Song of the Rooster" ("O Canto do Galo") is the new project of the Architect Inês Gomes, who requested Spot to create the new brand identity. The startup was a Facebook page, a blog and in the future an online shop.
The rooster is a symbol of Portugal (Barcelos Rooster), which also means dawn, a sunrise, or a beginning. "The Song of the Rooster" can also be understood in the portuguese language - as a site or a place (physical or virtual). "The Rooster place or site" is where the portuguese arts & crafts are, reflecting their culture and experience. SPOT Creative Media developed a logotype that translated all this concepts.
