Description:
Sem Tábuas was a socio-cultural and artistic association in Portugal, which aimed to use theatre, plays and artistic performances to promote social inclusion and education throughout the country, without ever differentiate social classes. It was composed of actors, producers and directors.
The name "Sem Tábuas" is a play on the words "Sem taboo" (without taboo), and "tábuas" (boards). Boards are a direct reference to the stage of a simple theater.
