Nice idea! But how about too reverse the colours of the letters? Im not sure if it's just me, but shouldn't be the f,u,d the darker letters to enhance the 3d effect %26 don't confuse the eye?
I agree with alex. The way you have the light source hitting the panels the F, U and D are technicallly in the shade, so the letters should appear darker than the O, L, and S if you want to be accurate. Otherwise, it's a nice logo.
