Description:
I'm developing a barcode scanning application called Morrie. Morrie is named after my beagle. The idea is to give the user a figure, a personality, to refer to for products and services.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - CRITIQUE ME. I'm new to the graphic design game (in fact this is my first .ai). I want to create an endless logo for my unique brand - ideas / advice / criticism would be greatly appreciated.

I like the idea and concept. My opinion is a logo is what you make it. Take a look at Nike it is not any more complex than your design is but we all know it has the timeless look you are interested in. But, if you find you're not satisfied with your work you should look into having your logo professionally designed. Good Luck!
