^ its not related to floats per se, certainly having alot of floats (depending on where the mods are viewing the logo from ) helps, but there are a group of logopond members who at their leisure add logos of exceptional quality ( to their subjective eye of course) to the gallery.
Mostly depends on when a mod sees a logo and if they think its worth putting in and if their are too many similar logos already in etc. Some logos get 'come back to' for no other reason than to spread out a similar style or trend.
