I like the monogram but my only concern is that it feels like a take on a modified or suggested cause-related-ribbon. So I expected some sort of non profit. But that could just be me.

Yes, I noticed that it does look slightly similar to one of the other latest logo additions to the site, the heart ribbon, and I understand your point (although this was done more than a year ago). I had done several drafts, my favourite unfortunately wasn%B4t an option: a straight T-shape reduced to the number 1, so it would convey the core characteristics of a news agency: being the first and relevant / straight to the point.

ReplyI enjoy this kind of solutions in a logo, and its on a great way. If i may i would like to suggest some points to enhance (according to my view) your work. For example: watch over the thickness on both of the red pieces, work on the size of the symbol your using while balancing it with the typography (which i believe is nor centered or well spaced to the symbol), and for last comment reduce the entire logo for a better presentation. Hope i was not to picky or anoying, but a help. Best wishes.
