ReplyNike does have an innate sense of motion to it but it also has an easily associated meaning. Nike is the Greek goddess of strength, speed %26 victory and is seen with wings in most statues and paintings. Therefore the swoosh.**P.S. They paid a student %2435 for the design. Although years later they gave her an undisclosed amount of stock.**I'll shut up now.
