i get it, but its a bit of stretch, the only indication of an alien is the gradation in the blocks that make the form of eyes. subtly is good but make sure the form can still be recognized even when its subtle.

Thanks. I tried making the eyes darker, but then the 'ice' look started fading away. I ended up with a compromise.

I found a darker shade on the eyes that seems to stand out better and not clash with the design... thanks for the feedback.

Nice work , i really like the idea , can you change the background and remove that black stroke , also typography needs more work

Suggestions on backround? Also how do I set up site to notify of comments ?

What @secondseight is saying is Just have the logo on a White background as for notification of comments there none that i know of.

White background without the stroke is not really going to let that light blue stand out at all !

Or Just a Black background , pure color backgrounds without any gradients or effects makes sure that your logo is the center of attention, so whatever color you choose , make sure its Just one color and not a bunch of distracting gradations in the background

A darker color than the logo will make it stand out better imo
