Description:
Logo and naming for a blog about maps.
The blog is about “Maps that we would find useful, but don’t yet exist”.
Getting a good name means a lot of work. “Map Fix” was chosen after many variants were written on paper. It’s short, memorable, descriptive (fixing a map problem). It’s also a double entendre (Getting a fix. Map-addict getting a fix). The “brand”, if I may call it so, has brand values such as user-friendliness, openness, and irony. There’s a rebel spirit behind the idea of making yourself/ourselves the maps that don’t yet exist or are badly made.
