Technically D can be inferred from the central dot/circle. But the mark is meant to be used as a part of the DOT word, so the D will be right there, in the vicinity.

I see the dot, but this mark alone does not say Dot, sorry.

Tried that just now. It doesn't look like a poop, but it sorts of throws the whole mark off the balance. Oh, well .. prefection is hard to find :)
