Description:
Hoppin' John is a modern day brass band that pulls from NOLA, early R&B and jazz influences to present a formidable 10 piece ensemble. For the art, we looked at turn of the century graphics as well as some of the more ornamental design treatments of Victorian age. I was finally able to make use of an old Emigre font called Brother.
