I feel like it should be called Honey Owl Cattery with Cattery larger so people don't look at it confused because they don't know why there is a cat instead of an owl in the logo.

I don't agree in you. The client has decided that the given breed of kittens is similar on owls. I do not think that people won't understand why nursery so is named. And it is remarkable, if people reflect why it so is named. It is unessential, that the sense of the image lay on a surface.

I agree with THEArtistT, I didnt even see the word Cattery until i read the comments, think about the range of sizes this logo will need to be displayed at%3B Websites, Banners, Letterheads. Also people want to know what the company is first and foremost.
