Replyi like the concept. it's difficult to call a little dude with a stache cute, but i'm going to go ahead and agree with tanami. i don't think you need to force a clever element by adding a soccer ball (or football for you folks living across the (logo)pond) within the hat. the subtle ball within the type is enough. i think the mustache could overlap the banner some to give a little more depth.
