The motherland, nice. 'Punjab', a province in India means, '5 rivers' and is / was the impenetrable gateway to India for a very long time. None of the great conquerers were able to invade India through that region because of the resilience and bravery of the Punjabi people. Was there a request to represent that in the logo? I am just curious.

Jatt, not directly. But the client did request a tone of nobility, dedication, province, and a sense of being beyond reproach. So the end goal is similar and I'm sure their reasoning stemmed from these cultural strengths and the historic significance.
