Description:
A 5-week-long project, we chose to create a visual identity for the Columbia area in New Westminster, B.C. We felt that the area lacked identity, having once been the downtown of Lower Mainland. Our goal was not to revamp the area and make it downtown once again, but to create a face that has character and a rich history. The identity created revolved around the idea of 'difference in a cohesive experience'. The area had a diverse selection of stores, entertainment, and attractions, of which we wanted to embrace.
