Self-described as a graphic illustrator with strong design skills (or a graphic designer with strong illustration skills), I bring a unique set of skills and knowledge to each project. Though the skill or knowledge may not be unique in of itself, its the application of both that results in a unique solution.
I have a diverse design background ranging from logo/graphic identity to web/new media to specialty marketing. I've worked with a client base as equally disparate, having ranged from national corporations to local start-ups, from professional sports teams to struggling charities, from the luxury home market to catalog gift manufacturers. Again, the diversity of projects have ranged from providing niche manufacturing expertise to creating merchandising lines to managing licensing of established artists. Such a range of experiences has allowed me to gain an extensive variety of production disciplines, from traditional print to screen printing to large format dye-sublimation to web/new media design.
I approach a project from a different perspective. To me, there's more to it than getting the job done right and satisfying the client's needs, which, of course, is important. It's also about doing the job with a high level of craftsmanship. It's about reviewing a project and seeing several viable solutions, and then knowing which is the most effective to pursue.
It's about learning something new with every project, be it a new skill or technique or simply that your client makes trivets and you understand their passion. It's about seeing the project from the client's point of view, looking out for their best interests and providing them with the information to choose what's right for them.
I bring a unique set of skills and knowledge to each project. Though the skill or knowledge may not be unique in of itself, its the application and combination of both that results in a unique solution.
