So I've come up with this idea, but to be honest, I'm not sure if this has been done before. Even if i've done some research and didn't found something similar, I really got this feeling that I'm not the first :D. So if it's something like this already, i'll delete it :). Hopefully not :))
ReplyI can't speak for other ideas, but I love this. Perfectly executed. I hope there's nothing too similar.
ReplyReally nice idea !! For me the f is a little bit too blurred. Having said that I had no problem reading it first glance. Nice one !!
Replythanks mate :) . I've come up with this after playing around with my nikon :)
Reply%22Focus Films%22:http://www.filminfocus.com/ourmovies is a pretty popular one
ReplyYeah this has been done to death with the word FOCUS and the film company pretty much owns it now.
Reply%5E I was going to say the same thing. The overall execution is different, but having the same name and a similar solution automatically associates the two.
Replyhm. well yea I've missed that. but I think that this focus films is quite the opposite of what I've done here. and kind of %22politically incorrect%22 in focusing terms :P . i'll update this with another.
Replyupdated. thanks for the fast critiques. hope this time it's ok. of course I know about sharp electronics, but hey :))
ReplyTo be honest, your concept is actually better. In fact I'm surprised Focus went the other way with the concept. This is much stronger IMO.
Replythanks. yes, you got to know something about focus points, that's why I believe that their logo is kind of screwed up. I mean, it's impossible to have the DOF inside, and the focus on the outside. but if you ask them, they will probably say that this was what they intended to :P. anyway. I changed my %22focus%22with %22sharp%22. it's in the same league.
ReplyI just think of peripheral vision and it's a %22no brainer%22 what is not direct is out of focus. Who designed that other logo? :)
Replydunno, beats me :P
ReplyYeah this is a good demo of a rack focus isn't it?
Replyyep. or something like an f/1.4 with a fast shutter speed (as an aperture) :)
