Not a whole lot to say about this logo, except for the fact that it is just type. There is NO design in this logo whatsoever! I am not saying that logos should not be simple but just to type set the organizations name and call it good, this I question.**On the other hand, let me speak out of the other side of my mouth...**There is a planeness and simplicity about it. Almost a sterile feel to it that gives it a certain environmental/medical feel to the logo. But I still feel that its lack of design overpowers this aspect of the logo.

In a minimal style like this every detail counts. For example the width of the EPU in relation to the width of the text below - why not the same width? EP looks a little bit closer than PU, because of the letter shapes (optical illusion). You should adjust for that. Maybe try a bold version of the bottom text to better balance the 2 parts? And for that matter, why include the EPU? What does it add? Do you think people will pronounce it (e-poo) or what? Hope that helps.

Yeah, there is not much here, I feel it needs a graphic of some sort

I agree with what lumavine said the P and U could be kerned a bit and the bottom text could be a bit bolder. **I think it just needs some kind of something to maybe solidify it as a single logo, as opposed to three letters and three words. The name of the place %22Environmental Psychology Unit%22 does tend to bring to mind minimalist, no-nonsense, bureaucratic type feelings and as such I think the really basic feel does work for it. It just needs something to bring it together as a single logo.**Oh and to answer the EPU question. The client did insist upon having both EPU and the full name in the logo. I always think of it as %22e-poo%22 as well. :P
