Description: Logo design for a mobile payments company Lydia. According to Herodotus, the Lydians were the first people to use gold and silver coins and the first to establish retail shops in permanent locations. The idea behind the concept was to combine the lion head together with a castle. A lion head was the first symbol to be used on a coin. The icon of a castle triggers the feeling of security and safety. Contact: [email protected]

Suddenly it all makes sense, nicely done.

Not sure if its just me or its intended the "plus" sign it makes of the white space, between the eyes and the castle. Still a strong symbol.
